View all comments I used to work at a place that was okay with IT immediately removing equipment from people who left stuff unlocked and that is the only place that managed to drill it into people enough that I’d be confident they’d also lock their computers during an emergency like this. I don’t blame the user here, but seriously poor IT people they are gonna get slammed with audit work and changes and tests, sad.

It was wonderful, nothing more satisfying than walking past an unlocked, unattended computer and just ripping the monitor of the desk and walking off with it lol. I kinda miss that place sometimes
