Yeah I’m sure it was people’s desire for unity, and not the drastic drop in the quality of life experienced by the average Russian during the 90s.

Born in 1993 in the west. I find that people young people who come from former communist countries tend to absorb their parents’ opinions. And their opinions of communism tend to be more positive the longer those parents lived in those countries during the 90s. I mean it really can’t be understated what hell the 90s were there.
