¡Viva los Zapitistas!

Need to stock up on coffee? Buy some beans from the Zapitistas’ Schools For Chiapas project and directly support socialist revolutionaries. It’s 100% legal and the coffee is good too! ☕️ 👌👍

Fun fact: in the original Japanese version Vivian was trans, but they omitted it from the American release. But yes, this game is excellent.

Super Monkey Ball 2, triple points if you have a setup that would allow you to play splitscreen.

Legend of Zelda: Windwaker

I can’t read.

I remembered Starwars Republic Commando and Simpsons Hit and Run being fun, but they’re both available for Windows without the need for an emulator.

Super Smash Bros Melee was a fucking banger, and there’s a mod for Super Smash Bros Brawl called Project M which you can play either on a hacked Wii or Dolphin which is really good if you’re into SSB.

Tony Hawk: Underground 2 was a lot of fun as well. A lot of the Tony Hawk games didn’t age very well, but THUG2 was pretty refined.

Lot of good responses already. Pikmin is solid. Also Mario Kart Double Dash and Mario Sunshine. Both hold up well.

MarioKart Wii. If you have any kind of motion controller or steering wheel, that’s the way to play it.

Everything to do with the USA’s own Imperial Backyard. From hispanics to the originary peoples of the americas to the diasporas, South America to Central America, to the Caribbean to North America (yes, we’re also there).

Post memes, art, articles, questions, anything you’d like as long as it’s about Latin America. Try to tag your posts with the language used, check the tags used above for reference (and don’t forget to put some lime and salt to it).

Here’s a handy resource to understand some of the many, many colloquialisms we like to use across the region.

“But what about that latin american kid I’ve met in college who said that all the left has ever done in latin america has been bad?”
