I don’t like to jump to conclusions personally, but it looks incredibly suspicious
so that does look very suspicious. question tho–who is he running the op for, deep state with capitol police being read in? farther down in that twitter feed the FBI appears to have put him on their wanted posters, so are they just not in on the play?
The FBI placing a known agent provocateur on a wanted poster doesn’t really threaten that agent.
yeah I was thinking this, oh hey they put him on the poster as part of the op, but also if he was working for you, seems like a dangerous move
If he’s sitting in an office or police station in Virginia somewhere surrounded by feds or cops who know who he is, he’s in no danger. And if he’s walking around with a badge, even if some out-of-the-loop cop stops him (which he’s at zero risk of anytime he’s in uniform) it’s more of an inconvenience than any real risk.
this is my read also. It seems like maybe there was some fishy stuff up at the top, but the rank and file were just sorta hung out to dry, and they made choices in the moment based on the situation and/or their latent sympathies. I mean screw them generally, but from an organizational standpoint they definitely got fucked over. Must be fun to be cop and realize your “brother” law enforcement agencies aren’t coming to help you or back you up… against a bunch of thin blue line supporters, no less haha.
