Conan is on record that it’s stupid that all comedians are obligated to make political jokes about the twenty four news cycle and that he prefers formats that let him produce content that is more evergreen.
Tbh Conan’s politics as a working-class Harvard come-up are pretty spotty at best and probably worse than Kimmel’s at this point, but at least I can mostly just tune them out and focus on what he does best: anachronistic vaudeville schtick, broad caricatures of the millennium lifestyle, and hammy Armenian jokes directed at his personal assistant/sidekick.
and that’s why I would say Conan’s as decent a centrist with his status as you could expect.
