I’m aware this sounds ignorant, but I’m not sure I’ve understood why the Rachel Dolezals of the world get hated on. If someone is darkening or bleaching their skin, changing their hair, clothes, style, and patter to feel more comfortable in their self-presentation, why is it so much more maligned in left circles than gender dysphoria?

Why isn’t racial dysphoria valid though?

Just saying “that’s racist” and “it doesn’t exist” feels incomplete.
