this makes me think of the South Park ep where they’re like “I wouldn’t touch that with an (X) foot pole”, except it’s about Q people
im down to see them butchered in the streets. if a civil war is what it takes to stop them fucking killing us with plague; I’m down. and im really bad at physical violence.
and im really bad at physical violence.
Well, that’s just it, isn’t it? That’s our problem.
We have a “revolutionary ideology”-- many, in fact, even on a board relatively homogeneized as this.
We have motive. Oh girls, do we have grievances and reasons to act.
What we do not have, is revolutionary capacity. We don’t have the physical training, emotional fortitude, or any of that, to take action.
I’m speaking in broad strokes here, there are exceptions like your occasional John Brown or Willem Van Spronsen. But here’s my point: if we are not going to get serious about getting ready to not only do violence of both offensive and defensive nature, as well as being willing to do the unquantifiably varied, utterly unglamorous labor that sustains any insurrectionary or underground counter-hegemony, then…
we are just going to keep posting.
I would hope that if someone’s preparing to do a violence, they aren’t posting about it on the internet for all to see.
me preparing for violence would mostly consist of me posting goodbyes and asking someone to take revenge on the specific person I expected to be about to kill me.
no I mean like im super physically uncoordinated and have the reflexes of a tectonic plate. working out can’t really fix the second one.
got plenty of emotional fortitude. that was never my problem.
When you were reading theory, I studied the blade. When you were having struggle sessions, I mastered the blockchain. While you wasted your days at the picket line in pursuit of vanity, I cultivated inner strength. And now that the world is on fire and the barbarians are at the gate you have the audacity to come to me for help.
