I didn’t even know the number of countries went that high. Like did God create white people and give them one brain lobe less? If I wasn’t a commie already this fact would have broken my brain and that no one in the west is taking this moment to question every assumption they held. How hasn’t the west just looked in the mirror and said to themselves “this is a clear failure of western values”. People should be walking the streets saying this is a societal failure.

This is just a remarkable feat. This is honestly more impressive than the moon landing. The countries who had the least time to prepare still massively outperformed the richest countries, who also had at least a month’s heads up.

I wouldn’t call it a major failure. You probably mean the one with 60% effectivity rate? It’s still pretty good since it still guards against all serious symptoms. It’s also good because you can keep it in a normal fridge and not at -80° C. I remember also that at the early testing showed that different doses could increase effectivity into the 90s.
true but it’s only the difference between mild symptoms and no symptoms. It’s still 100% effective against all severe symptoms, that is it basically eliminates the need for hospitalization. The refrigeration issue is also a big advantage. For my money the best vaccine is the Russian one anyway.
