The people on his side who could vote against him don’t believe the pandemic is happening and think the electrical grid crashed due to alternative energy. That alternative energy threatens the industry poisoning them, the one driving statewide privitisation and deregulation which resulted in the electrical grid being below national standards. If someone tries to intervene they’ll probably be besieged by hicks with assault rifles like the Michigan governor.
