Libs believe this unironically about the CIA. They think believing the CIA is the same thing as believing climatalogists w/r/t climate change. And they get that same sense of smugness and indignation when you suggest we shouldn’t listen to the CIA about anything.

Every science channel or history channel show at some point will bring on a “former cia agent” to talk about shit, especially is the ussr comes up. Libs are hardwired to think authority figures on 100% correct on everything and they present the cia as such.

Hell if you go on Reddit and say some whacked out shit and put (source: I’m a biologist) or whatever under it you’ll get like 2000 upvotes before someone who actually knows finally calls you on your bullshit
