I actually laughed out loud, the article did a great job of explaining why millennials have been so disenfranchised by the system, and then just throws away the ideas of rent control and wealth tax as ‘snake oil’ without giving any justification why.
I mean, we know why. Bloomberg’s reader base would be disproportionately effected by rent controls and wealth taxes, so it’s just a given in their articles that they aren’t viable ideas. You don’t need to explain why a wealth tax is a bad idea to a wealthy person, because they already know why :capitalist:
