Idk but when I was Spain I flew out from Barcelona right before a general strike that shut down the whole city

By my observation, Spanish people have seemed to consistently point out that present catalonian separatism is bourgeois in nature whenever this comes up. It’s one of the wealthiest regions in Spain and the capitalists would prefer to shield their wealth from the Spanish government/rest of the country.

Spanish here,its not anarchist catalonia 2.0, the messages from the campaigners were very focused on the aspect of having their wealth stolen because of taxes from the central goverment and also some mild “xenophobia” to Andalucians (poorer part of Spain).Nevertheless Spanish pigs are trash and there is a also big left support in support of independece. Do with that what you will
