Waaah trying to fix the environment is too hard.
It’s easier to simply create a new home on a world without air, water, food or energy millions of miles away.
I know if human civilisation survives more than a million years here on earth then yeah eventually we’ll have to leave, but leaving now??? So shitty.
He doesn’t want Mars, he wants to own space flight, that’s a business and he wants to monopolize it.
We’re long past the point at which dominating a US industry grants you global monopoly. But I can absolutely see Musk patent trolling his way to trillionaire status inside his own lifetime.
Whether that trillion will be worth anything by the time it prints is another question, though.
