Basically that’s what they are and people who stan them are liberals themselves and telling on themselves. Odd how some people are so willing and eager to treat with these people, these liberal grifters, to champion them and call them worthy of paying attention to (wrong, liberal reformism even without weird religious elements in the US is basically tantamount to collaborationism with the bourgeoisie and the empire) – for they’re not some principled strain of Marxists with some backwards cultural problems but are doing real good (hello China, that never gets the benefit of the doubt from many of these same people when a new propaganda article comes out) or some Maoist rebels who’ve been fighting in the jungles for decades. Western chauvinism is so prevalent it prevents the left from being in any way meaningful in the west.

You know what the CIA likes doing? It includes watering down lines and principles (“oh we have to be inclusive and bring in the pro-imperialist left guys, nevermind they’re helping sell the war and kill brown people, we shouldn’t be divisive, don’t listen to those red fash who are lifting people out of poverty”) and directing people to wrong-think (I could write 10k characters on this alone, good fuck, do you people really think they’re that fucking brainless? That they don’t know capitalism has problems and rather than trying to crush every outlet for that it pays to instead allow, even prop up false paths that are not a danger, that are intellectually and otherwise neutered and to funnel people there to waste their energy in a trap they’ve designed. It’s no different than knowing every system needs a pressure release, every castle defense strategy a breach). They spent large amounts of money in the 70s hosting conferences for the Euro-socialist left to carefully cultivate an anti-soviet socialist intellectualism [1] . Having a line where you say someone is a liberal and not with you is hardly indicative of helping the CIA, if you allow your movement to stand for everything you stand for nothing. If you allow them to hijack and pervert your words then you have no language to express your ideas.
