I like art and discovering new artists, but for some reason the only popular art types on the internet are photorealistic pencil/ballpoint drawings of celebrities, digital paintings of white women aged 18-23, or cartoons.

Are there any good forums for finding more experimental or conceptual stuff?

Tumblr is great for art! Here are some of my favorite artists there:

iguanamouth
samsketchbook
dimetrodrawn
bowelfly
mysteryfleshpit
alisonzai
misterhayden

Many of them have Instagram accounts too, but I don’t use instagram. I especially like iguanamouth’s blog because they often reblog other artists in addition to their own art. I think their blog is how I discovered most of the other artists on the list

I like shopgoodwill.com you would be surprised what you might findm i have several sculptures and paintings.

generally i follow artists on twitter like for example comic writter kenneth rocafort @mitografia posts daily sketches or RJ palmer who posts concept art he does like twitter is fine for it if you follow some artists
