They usually orbit angiespeaks or ‘Fox Space Commune’ guy and they claim to be communist they just shit on BLM and anti-racism in general as well as anti-fascism. Like that’s their main schtick the left is too hard on chuds and we should really be looking at the anti-racism in our movement and trying to dissociate ourselves from it.

Is this that ‘post left’ shit I keep hearing about

This is what an actual “class reductionist” is – someone who ignores racial (and other identity-based) oppression to appeal to working class bigots.

When Twitter libs call you a “class reductionist” for having any class consciousness at all, laugh at them for not knowing what words mean. Don’t take their bullshit definition of the term and use it against other leftists who push back against real class reductionism.

There’s good reason to be critical of BLM in regards to how they are hitching their wagons to the dem establishment but I’d imagine this kind of “leftist” isn’t going after them because of that. Sounds like this type would be friendly with Destiny and V*ush.

No, they aren’t critical of them for any reason other than it’s a movement of black people and it’s ‘idpol’ to them. Not saying the movement is perfect, but I did feel like I had purpose protesting with BLM in my city.

Ah so they’re stupidpol types then? For what it’s worth, at least in my opinion, those types seem to be pretty small on the left. Not dismissing racists like them but it feels like the wider left is more accepting than these backwards bigots are.

A good reason to be critical of the high profile NGOs and organizations that have glommed onto the energy of the movement and tried to direct it, but anyone who’s been paying attention beyond the superficial level of CNN/MSNBC coverage can see there are much deeper, much more radical roots to the recent uprisings. There was a marked split between the lib “nonviolence / awareness” crowd and the more radical “it is time to tear this motherfucker up” crowd. Despite unparalleled efforts at domestic counter-insurgency and recuperation, that latter group was never successfully domesticated.

BLM as a whole may not be explicitly Marxist or revolutionary, but it certainly has those currents within it, and it accomplished more revolutionary praxis in a year than any other group (within the US) has in quite some time.

This “new” type of “leftist” was everywhere in 2016-2017, it wasn’t until Charlottesville that they started to pipe down

Twitter is trash. Anti fascism and anti racism are cool and good actually. The liberal co-optation of BLM and anti racism as a cynical tool for the HR department is counter productive at best. As far as interacting with chuds, idk how to square that circle but they’re about half the country so it does need to be addressed.
