I get irrationally angry at Marvel adults.
I consider myself to be a superhero fan, but that comes with lots of caveats and context and criticism of what I consume. Superheroes in my opinion aren’t inherently bad or neoliberal, its just that neoliberal culture/society embraces it and uses it to further it’s goals, as does any culture or society.
At its core, its just people with superpowered abilities. Status quo, good and evil, philosophy, are neutral aspects.
Fr I’m Batman fan since forever, but I don’t want to assoocite with current DC fanbse or DC universe.
We’ve got Wonder Woman lmaoooo what a diss
Imagine talking like this to people in real life. You’d get instantly bullied.
To paraphrase Memri TV: Americans have no real heroes, they only have Spiderman and SpongeBob or something like that.
When you want to disregard a christian, you ask them if Jesus Christ would’ve done this, if you want the same for a muslim you ask them if Muhammed would’ve done this, if you want with a socialist you ask them if Marx, Stalin, Lenin would’ve done this, if you want it with a nationalist you ask if their national figure would’ve done this, and when you want to tell a liberal to not do something, you ask him “Would’ve Harry Potter supported genocide on Palestinians?”
Sorry sweaty, but it’s important to always give an air of civility and “sorry” is one of those words that magically makes my sentence immune to criticism so you aren’t allowed to call me out or be mad at me for saying things.
ion’t know what he’s glazing about other than a murderer who reps a genocidal state, cause capes don’t exist
Fascist fuckin settler
