I don’t recall reading any biographies at all for school.

Although to be fair the only school book I really remember reading was Camus’ The Stranger so shrugemoji

Bill Gates and Steve Job’s autobiographies weren’t even in my reading lists as a kid (we did read one of Steve job’s stupid speeches about how you should never give up or whatever), why should chinese kids have to read them? I do think it’s good that China is adjusting to America’s newfound lack of influence, but that’s just my Death to America speaking
