There’s so much to unpack in this video. Starting with the opinion piece was no different than the whole video. It’s almost like when you share information there’s always implicit bias involved. Also I didn’t realize France doesn’t use fossil fuels. Shit country, but that’s cool. But now they’re shutting down more nuclear plants ahhhhhhhhhhh.
The super hero illustrations are so fucking silly. How about showing idk actual humans building and working on these energy sources and not illustrating the energy source running itself.
Also, way to both sides climate change. They admit the only thing stopping nuclear in America is capitalist regulation and because of that regulation, we have to rely more a renewables, but we literally don’t have the carrying capacity for renewables. So guess we just have to increase our carbon footprint and blame the lack of tech in renewables.

Nuclear energy could be good, but not in capitalism.
Nuclear power is the only carbon friendly energy source that we can use to handle civillization’s immense energy needs right now. I’m sorry there is no world where fossil fuels are banned and nuclear power is not being used to pick up the slack unless you are advocating straight up degrowth/deindustrialization (good luck selling that to people)
