I got a flag pole recently, but I dont want to play the 50 star imperial flag. Anyone know any civil war era radical republican or union army flags I could raise instead?

I recommend the Fort Sumter flag, it was the one lowered at the start of the war, but Major Anderson was allowed to keep it. It was auctioned off and displayed in NY and then Anderson himself would 4 years later rise the tattered flag over Sumter again https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c1/Fort_Sumter_storm_flag_1861.jpg

It’s a boring 34 star American flag, but the 54th Massachusetts Regiment flag may be up your alley. It was the Civil War black regiment famously portrayed in the movie Glory

Edit: fuck it, do an Abraham Lincoln brigade flag
