Number theory is super cool.

I was actually reading a recent article (can’t seem to find it now) that was talking about how number theory is really popular with prisoners because it’s really accessible, but also still useful. So a lot of the prisoners who have gone on to make mathematical discoveries from prison or afterwards, have done so in number theory.

The sum of the 1st and 3rd digit in the result must equal the sum of the 2nd and 4th digit. Tolya’s number was 4425.
