Asking here because /c/dating is closed. How subtle or overt should I make my politics on my dating profile? On a scale of zero to hammer and sickle profile pic.
I’ve seen some profiles with “ACAB” or “BLM” but they could be libs.
Also WTF is up with these options for politics? All I can pick are liberal, very liberal, or other.

Say you despise landlords. And that your childhood hero was “antifa supersoldier (insert name that makes sense here)”.
Put a communist slogan that libs don’t recognize in your bio like “A better world is possible.”
I refer to myself as a “proud socialist” and make revolution ‘jokes’ in my profile. On some of them I explicitly identify as a leftist too. It seems to effectively filter out anyone to the right of Warrenites, who fancy themselves to be leftists, which I mean :data-laughing:
I mostly match with radlibs and libs because that’s mostly what’s out there, but I also get a number of apolitical matches too who just don’t seem to mind? I think “socialist” itself has lost almost all of the stigma it used to carry, yet it still correctly places me about as far left as most matches’ political imaginations reach. Chuds are repelled, libs are intrigued, leftists react super positively. It works for me.
Would it make a difference if they had better choices?
