I want to be done with manual labor. How do I become one of those people that does their work on a laptop on a tropical island? Every day I just want to die. Please help.
Okay, I don’t actually want to be on a tropical island. I just want air conditioning and no commute.
That last bit is why I’m surprised some offices keep trying to force people back in. The poor, stupid bourgeoisie doesn’t even realize it’s in their best interest to keep us WFH!
Learn photoshop, make a fake resume with a background in marketing, get a job for a startup company managing their social media accounts, shitpost on twitter while you scratch your balls and make bread
Copywriting. Best way to go about it is to get a resume together that looks alright via a few low paying gigs, never ever work for free, and then apply constantly on job boards. /R/forhire got me a lot of gigs starting out and /r/hireawriter once I had a better resume and felt confident applying for higher paying gigs.
Local work is even better, but you generally have to know someone to be able to get in.
This is a full time job and takes up a ton of mental thought and I have mental breakdowns from it from time to time but it does pay decently once you’re in.
Learn to code.
