Americans have a problem with anything except unbridled individualism. They can’t comprehend getting a jab and at most a day sick in bed over large spikes in infection
Wearing a mask in public is good and people should do it.
If you’ve gotten vaccinated, you’ve already done 95% of your job and drama over the remaining 5% is a weird thing to focus on when billions of people suffer under vaccine apartheid and millions more think the vaccine is a 5G Soros population control device. Those problems are orders of magnitude greater than whether vaccinated people mask up.
Overcaution is good but shouldn’t be mistaken for wisdom or virtue.
It’s not over-caution, it works.
Is it over-caution for a surgeon to wear gloves if he just washed his hands?
Those scenarios are not comparable and you know that.
Comparing getting the vaccine to washing your hands borders on anti-vaxxerism.
What are you talking about? I’m saying people should wear masks even if they’re vaccinated, because doing both has the best harm reduction. You know, like a surgeon wearing multiple forms of protection to reduce contamination as much as possible. Those things are very similar.
I just appreciate the fact that it’s July 31st 2021 and we’re back to mask discourse.
