Those recommendations are fine, but the most important thing is to get vaccinated if you can. You’ll still probably get the delta variant, but you’re unlikely to get seriously sick. If you can’t get vaccinated, because of unavailability or a medical condition that contraindicates it, just be fastidious about your mask and handwashing, but I’d honestly recommend self-isolation in that case.

Get vaccinated, first and foremost.

Beyond that, your common sense seems to be on point. Properly wash your hands often, if you can anti-microbial (just anti-biotic doesn’t help against viruses) hand sanitizer.
