Murders have gone up everywhere (because it’s hot as fuck and people are extremely stressed and socially isolated from the pandemic) and cops haven’t done shit about it. Fucking hate how they blame their incompetence on others while they sit on their hands.
Cops aren’t even the solution to these issues. Crime is largely a product of poverty. If this country gave a shit they’d stop pushing police funding as a solution and just help the impoverished get secure and safe. But they just want their shock troops to protect their property and are using this as an excuse to fund them
