I’m reading/watching stuff on Universal Century Gundam Online, a failed mmorpg by Bandai set in the War Year War timeline of Gundam’s Universal Century. Looks very neat and like it had a lot of promise, sadly the game only lived for about a year before the plug was pulled. In a more just world it would have lived and got expansions in the form of later Gundam seasons/movies like Stardust Memory, Zeta, ZZ etc.
So, what’s some of your favorite games based on anime IPs? There’s a lot of anime game stinkers out there too, like DBZ Ultimate Battle 22, so you can add those too if you want.

FighterZ I keep seeing as like one of the best anime games ever. Plays competitive too, like Street Fighter right?
FighterZ is alright but its kinda weird competitively. Guilty Gear is where its at right now. I would also suggest Granblue Fantasy Versus, as its a REALLY good game, but its dead as fuck and costs a zillion dollars. New Melty Blood coming soon as well.
Out of all of these, I heavily suggest Guilty Gear Strive if you want a crazy dope anime fighter.
