these primitive organisms really never get tired of writing silly new derivative stories. they’ll surely never be able to appreciate sophisticated narratives about light diffracting on a bubble films, and hives multiplying and assimilating other hives that 8th level civilizations and higher have mastered.
The all time banger, ‘Earthling is young, grows up.’
Earthlings celebrate the transition from youth from maturity, yet they don’t even molt their old shell. 😂😂😂😂
Earthlings when they see narrative structure

I’m a big fan of “earthling has bad things happen to him repeatedly, and then dies”, personally.
What about a story where the bad character gets rewarded and the good character gets punished
A passionate and idealistic young man returns to the technologically-powerful but politically-backward country that left him for dead as a child. He wins power by the legitimate process according to the country’s law and traditions, then sets about implementing a progressive agenda of assisting oppressed people around the world. The reactionary monarchist forces immediately organise a military coup, backed by the CIA. The progressive movement is crushed by the loyalist military and the young man is killed, and the CIA-friendly monarch is reinstalled on the throne.
“Everyone dies at the end” used to be a popular story, but then storytelling became a business and those ones don’t get written any longer.
It’s so god-damned funny. I love the Soviet ambassador refusing to eat imperialist food, and then telling the white house guy to bring him wine and caviar. I love the slow realization that what drove Ripper to do what he did was cocked up conspiracy nonsense (which he turned to after suffering from ED). I love Strangelove accidentally calling the President “Fuhrer”.
