I don’t remember where I originally heard this. Its either from chapotraphouse or trueanon. But it could be also from Matt Christmans youtube series.

But ive seen it said there was like a DISTRICT Attorney or an Assistant US attorney - something to that effect - that stumbled into evidence of their local drug dealers working with the CIA and/or contra in nicuraugua. Whatever the connection, frankly it could have been as flimsy as just the fact they were Nicaraguan drug dealers, as iran contra was going on. But regardless this dude took this evidence to the Special Counsel in the Iran Contra investigation and it was never followed up on and the guy ended up if I remember correctly shot in the head at a red light. Ruled a suicide.

Does anyone know what this is talking about?

I know the gist of this is true… When I originally looked this guy up I believe I was able to read the original orbiturary in like the latimes which attributed his death to a suicide. And to be fair I believe his wife is on record as saying he was depressed. Sus as fuck nonetheless.
