John Brown would have gotten along well with George Jackson, who believed that the proletariat were to be found in this nation’s prisons.
George is the reason that Marxist literature is banned in most prisons. It’s banned because he lead an armed insurrection and killed prison guards.
He’d be fighting for the exact same things, because abolition was never truly accomplished.
