Ron Funches is a great, very watchable newer comedian. He had a good special Giggle Fit a few years ago.
A few others mentioned Mike Birbiglia, who I think is consistently fantastic as well.
I like the English comedian Paul Taylor because he’s friendly mocking the shit out of the french, their language, and their customs as an Englishman. Like a good example is their nationwide tradition of doing the cheek kiss thing but not knowing when or how you do it. Or how their English borrow words are probably chosen to fuck with anglos, or how the french use their thermometer rectally and how he made the mistake one time of doing it normally.
