Hi all, I’d like to make a vegan lunch item that is not messy, quick to consume, and that I can make without a stove. I have hot water and access to a full normal American grocery. I’ve been having a lot of fruits and veggies for lunch, but I’d like something with a little more substance that has more complete nutrition.

a bean and “cheese” burrito with cilantro lime rice is very good the one thing is u need like a rice cooker i guess.
Well, yeah, but they don’t have a stove, or even a hot plate, so I’m guessing that’s because they’re living in a place that doesn’t allow that. Something like a microwave oven or a rice cooker would most likely be allowed, and would allow them to cook more stuff.
How hot is your hot water? You could get some miso paste and tofu and make miso soup. You could add some noodles in there too if you want.
