It’s unclear at this point whether or not AirTM will even be giving the workers an actual cryptocurrency that can be exchanged easily for real money. It’s entirely possible they could just print US $18 Million “worth” of their own exchange crypto and make the poor sods try and sell that, in which case it would be a straight transfer of capital from the CIA to AirTM. But the CIA has never paid anyone in South America to do anything horrifying in the past so it’s probably fine right?
