in all likelihood the best vaccines do for this strain is slightly reduce severity. You should still get a booster, since it could be the difference between a severe case and a deadly case, but it won’t stop you from getting sick as fuck
We’re at the point where mask mandates are being obviously ignored and no one gives a shit. Like the same way everyone pretends they wash their hands after peeing but only does it when there’s someone else in the public bathroom with them. No one’s wearing a mask unless they’re worried someone will call them out on it but everyone’s so tired that no one is enforcing anything anymore. The only people still wearing masks where I live are the service industry workers who have to for their job
