This is going to happen. I would literally bet my $5,000 in savings on it.
Going full conspiracy brain here but my worst fears keep playing out: There will be no election, something is going to happen that is going to suspend/call into question their legitimacy and violence may or may not be involved. Buckle the fuck up people.
I think there will be some kind of “election” it will just be a complete farce. 8+ hour lines in swing states with cops/DHS/rightwing goons attacking poc trying to vote, mass destruction of mail-in votes etc. Ultimately Trump will claim victory, likely with the help of the supreme court, and Biden and the dems will roll over just like 2000.
Why would they do that? The only benefit would be a short term improvement in case numbers. The rate that people are dying right now is fine, the American people are lying down and taking it. It’s more fruitful to distract from the issue.
