I always liked the Tiger, was kinda funny when I learned how fucked the production for them was later in the war
over engineered to the point of notorious unreliability, had to turn the engine over regularly or it would seize up, the parts were occasionally not standardised, when some factories decided to make an improvement or change the design spec for a part then ship them off to the front only to find they don’t fit properly in a lot of the tanks…
Nazi Germany’s entire industrial base was a fucking shitshow. Most of their Wunderwaffen were basically built artisanally by slave labor, which when combined with the sheer stupidity of the designs meant that 95% of them fell apart before they got anywhere near the front lines.
