I mean normal screen ratio things are still around but I do think it makes it easier to share to new phone platforms like tik tok and ig. You could maybe compromise and use a 1:1 aspect ratio that might work across both?

Im not a big fan of phone aspect ratios either but some of my clients have pretty successful internet presences and do literally everything on the phone

I refused to finally get a smart phone until like 2015

I held out till 2020. I’m also a bit older, why the fuck is everything a touch screen now?

I have nothing against them as a concept and they certainly have their uses, I just want my goddamn mechanical 10-key back on my cash register :I-was-saying:

Because its cheaper and not so horrible nobody wants to use it. That is the only reason, literally. Printing electronics is now cheaper than making anything with any shape to it.

Mobile seems to make up about 60% of web browsing that’s per 2020 Google analytics data.

But also that probably shifts quite a bit depending on platform.

I find it refreshing to see memes like that in desktop aspect ratios but I think we’re in the minority and if you want the memes to spread among zoomers and even just most people then yeah you’ll need to make them mobile-first tbh
