The shooter lives in Antioch, Illinois. He crossed the border of his state north to Kenosha, Wisconsin. What happened is: he showed up to a protest, was greeted by cops who gave him water and thanked him for being here (cops need a fucking trigger happt 17 years old with a semi-automatic rifle that ressembles the troop’s rifles to make them feel safe lol). He then proceeded to shoot one person in the head. He was then attacked by a Chad with a skateboard who tried disarming him, and he shot him in the stomach. He was left to bleed out on the pavement. Apparently a third guy showed up with a handgun, and got shot in the right arm. I know nothing about other rumors.
In a statement to BuzzFeed News on Wednesday, the Grayslake Police Department confirmed that Rittenhouse was a former member of the Lindenhurst, Grayslake, Hainesville Police Department’s Public Safety Cadet Program. According to a description that was recently removed from the department’s official website, the program “offers boys and girls the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement” through “hands-on career activities,” such as riding along with officers on patrol and firearms training.
