I’m going on there telling people not to leave the sub. People are trying to pull them to even more liberal subs.

I’m just telling them there was this stupid thing the other day where a mod went on TV, did a terrible job, and people got mad but also got bigoted, so they shut the sub down for a day to clean it up. It’s not a reason to stop posting shit about your boss, and anyone saying otherwise is a fed or owns a business.

That’s pretty much my angle as well, while also trying to get people to read theory as it helps to inoculate people against this sort of thing and better resist it.

Why not shepherd them over to the Workers Strike Back sub? It’s controlled by a Marxist-Leninist and anarchist mod team isn’t it?

Great tip, I’ll do exactly that. They should keep posting on the super huge one too, but should be pushed toward that clearly better sub

I’ve been sending people to r/WorkersStrikeBack. It has left unity, actively revolutionary (as much as they can be on reddit), and no weird post-leftist shit going on.

The mods of r/antiwork are incompetent clowns and the writing is on the wall.

When I am old and think back on how I spent my youth, I’ll be like “damn I wish I had spent a few more hours arguing with anonymous liberals on a shitty ass website”

Time much better spent arguing about arguing with liberals on another liberal website.

I’m not really arguing. Just giving unsolicited advice.

The whole subreddit is just people complaining about mods now with posts that are probably astroturfed to hell.

The moderators should be releasing an actual statement. Lay out some ground rules. And bring down the ban hammer on all these “evil mods” posts that are polluting it and drowning out actual content.

They did release a statement, it just made it much worse as it basically said some 21 year old person that has never had a job and is “post left” did four more interviews, including one with the New York Times.

Lol. Lmao

yeah it wasn’t really even a statement. There was no “where do we go from here”.
