They do some good stuff. They put a lot of muscle into protests and have a well-kept site and a cool podcast, giving socialist politics more visibility both online and off. I’ve known a few PSL members personally; we’ve collaborated on local issues.
I have also heard/seen numerous things/struggle sessions about sexual assault pushed under the rug, personal privacy invasions, and vindictive retaliation against former members.
I’ve heard some suspicions cast on Brian Becker for hosting a podcast with an ex-CIA agent, but that’s the most substantial criticism of the party that I’ve ever heard. All other indication to me so far as I’ve been able to discern is that they’re cool as fuck.
