Liberals are going to pull a “Russians are doing war crimes too”
Yes they are. You fucking idiot, the difference is that everyone is talking about Russians and no one dares to bring up Ukrainians’ crimes. Literally not a fucking peep. This is the first war I’ve ever seen where one side doesn’t have a single mainstream report of a war crime.
I keep wanting to scream at people that this is a war. A fucking war. We won’t know the truth for at least a decade or more because war is full of propaganda and this one is especially chock full of it. What can we be certain of? That 99% of the time more civilians die in war than soldiers. War is a crime against humanity, not just the “war crimes” that are sprinkled throughout the horrorshow. Libs are desperate to find themselves on the right side of the conflict because they have stunted moralities where they think their personal opinion matters to anyone besides themselves and their god.
I saw a thread talking about Russia’s ultimatum to Mariupol being a war crime (arguably, it may become one), and then saying that of course the uninformed civilians would shoot Russians down as they entered…Which, you know, is a war crime and opens up reprisals on the general populace.
Another one tried to argue that Ukranian soldiers should be allowed to fire from Civilian bunkers. Just…I have no words…
Someone in the megathread on Ukraine was talking about how this is like Unite The Right but for international fascism and they’re not wrong. Now these fuckers are armed with NATO gear and training.

Sometimes I say leftists and communists never want violence and only will do it because that’s the only way to seize power, but after seeing this footage and the testimonies about what’s happening there, every single notion of mercy I had for these pieces of human filth went out the window.
