Save the energy for well-meaning centrists, liberals, and soft conservatives that don’t seem to base their value system on imperialistic thinking–so at least you know you’re speaking honestly and in good faith

But otherwise, just make sure you have surplus water, surplus nonperishable food, basic medicine, ways to charge your devices, keep your gas tank topped off as much as possible + have a gas can at home, have a system to check on your friends/family, so on and so on

A moral high ground helps mobilise allies and avoid the condemnation of the undecided.

The best thing you can say is: “They weren’t even from the area, why are they coming to protests in armed caravans if they don’t want to see violence?” and leave it at that.
