This is also in a tourist area. Can you imagine them being yelled at by a customer and them having to just take it?

Would love to yell at these losers for poor service, then double down and yell at them for creating such a shitty community environment that no one wants to work in the area, then triple down and attack them all personally for driving hardworking folks out of the area after they try to talk back.

They’re on cell phones, they aren’t doing any work. Write 'em up.

According to the OP, they found the “do not book to these people” list, didn’t realize that’s what it was, and started calling them lol.

Clearly we love to see it folks.

But I’m waiting for the day when some states make it “illegal” to do a walk out like this, vaguely claiming it’s an issue of “safety” to the public.

You never see police do household chores for people who are too swamped with work to have any time for it, but here we see cops working on the public’s dime to make sure a fucking hotel doesn’t lose too much profit when those overworked employees decide to do something about. Perfect encapsulation of the purpose of police under capitalism.

Funny enough, I think if this becomes the norm, it would actually make a LOT of cops quit. Long, shitty hours? Most of the day is incredibly boring? All worth it for the times that they get to have a power trip and kill some guys. But actually having to be a worker? That crosses the line.

idk if I could pull a gun on hostile/abusive customers I would definitely hate my job less. They’re still afforded all the privilege and power that comes with being a cop.

The cops are being scabs, consistent with their role as class traitors.
