I found out about this trying to verify something someone told me before posting about it in another thread but holy shit this is so fucking stupid. Planned Parenthood, NARAL, the ACLU, are all basically like eh you know child marriage why not, how about fucking no? There is not a single reason anyone needs to marry before being a legal adult . One of the NARAL people phrased it as “marriage choice” and it’s a reproductive choice that should not be infringed on just like abortion :jesse-wtf:
