Fuck i just want a general strike and a mass labor organizing movement, is that too much to ask?
Just a PSA to get to know your neighbors. Just had a cop outside my apartment because someone assaulted my neighbor. I went out and had a cig to talk to my neighbor while the cop was still there (I thought he was gone but nope) and a neighbor in a nearby apartment complex was catching the interest of this cop. She just has a really loud voice but he was looking at their place like my cat looks at a chipmunk. I was able to tell the cop to not worry about it, and text her to warn her what was going on so they were aware. Absolutely he was going to go “investigate” her having a normal conversation just because she has a loud voice and the window was open.
I’m so sorry. I am going through depression too. I just want you to know that you are by no means alone and solidarity with you.
Buddy of mine is exactly like this. They each have like a personal account that they can use to buy whatever they want. The idea of consulting his wife before making a large purchase for himself with that money was appalling to him.
I think it’s exactly as you describe. Never lose the autonomy over yourself. It’s a terrible relationship model imo
