Democrats in their fantasies:
I stand in front of a cheering crowd of Nazis and give a final farewell speech that’s so emotional that the crowd tears up, then the executioner shoots me and the crowd gasps. Silence. The crowd murmurs and disperses and the Nazi leaders are disappointed that no one is excited.
They decide to purge the Nazis who were moved by my speech. They rule for another 500 years, but perhaps a little girl can look back at my speech and be inspired to change the system from the inside. Her name? Hilläry Clintön.
Democrats just want someone to admit they were right. To the point that they tank any actual change. It’s bananas.
Democrats have embraced the plucky underdog archtype real hard. Most of the time, it involves the Republicans saying “Aww shucks, you liberals aren’t so bad after all!” and then just becoming democrats. Maybe some higher ups like Mitch McConnell or Tucker Carlson will shout “Noooooo!” and then just quietly disappear from the public sphere.

As for the democrats fighting back - they can’t. They already entirely gave up. They’re utter, vile, abject cowards. They only seem to have one of two solutions to any problem…
- Give more money to the cops.
or
- Give more money to the military
Here’s an example from just a couple days ago. The backstory is that many states gave some of their federal covid money to the cops. Also Federal covid funding has run out. In this context Biden actually said to states “Hey, ya got covid funding left over? Give it to the cops!”
I’m losing my God damn mind.
If you tell a liberal how insane this is - they won’t even miss a beat. They have been programmed to respond like insane parrots programmed with pat replies. They’ll say stuff like “But Biden doesn’t have the votes…” or “Biden doesn’t control the senate…” or “Manchin and Sinema are the problem and there’s a solution. Vote…”
It deadass broke my mind yesterday seeing “this is why you should vote!” in response to the shooting.
After January 6th a poll said that tens of millions of republicans don’t think Biden is a legitimate president and they thought violence was acceptable way to rectify that. And now it’s insanely shocking but not really at all surprising that nearly half of Republicans agree with “great replacement theory”.
And to combat this horror and this mass shooting which might be a right-wing trend this year - the dems are trying to squeeze out extra votes and they’re not even saying they’ll do anything right now other than the two things I mentioned.
At this point I have to assume that as people start to do forms of in public early voting there will be republicans their with their guns to poll watch and the will say they are there to “protect democracy”. Biden and the democrats will be surprised that this is allowed. They’ll meekly say “Why are the police allowing this?”
Gee, democrats, maybe it doesn’t matter how much money you gave them. They don’t think Biden is a legitimate president and they think that force (if not actual violence) was acceptable way to rectify that. Why wouldn’t that be the case? They’re more militant than a republican who is just small business tyrant who doesn’t like black people or taxes. They’re the fucking cops. Their hate goes all the way to the bone.
