I thought it was potentially a feature to save posts so you can access/refer to them later, but I can’t seem to find a page collecting them. I see the “saved” section on my account page but nothings appearing there. am I missing something? or does starring a post work differently?

After pressing Saved on your profile, you have to refresh the page. There’s a bug of some sort on a number of pages where the URL history will get updated but the corresponding network call doesn’t get made.

On your profile there is a “saved” button that allows you to see all the posts you have fav’d/saved. This was not fully developed on the old version of Lemmy which Hexbear is built on. It has been functioning normally on Vanilla Lemmy for a long time.

yes thank you! I feel so silly I’ve tried clicking on it before but my saved posts would never pop up, I just did it now and it worked after taking a while to load. I guess I just need to be more patient lol

It’s faster to click “Saved” and then refresh
