That’s what I remember as well. That it basically required a lot of time for potential agents to actually read through tons of material to be able to be credible in conversation; too much time.

I’d also be amazed if, among the whole of potential :fedposting: they tried this with (if they ever would), a few wouldn’t actually turn based on the reading alone.

I mean, that is literally the reason anarchist activist groups work the way they do. The weird, loose affinity groups that rarely coordinate directly and emphasize using a different identity for different organizing with only a handful of formal organizations for purely legal actions (generally with individuals not involved in coordinated actions outside of them - see the General Defense Committee for a common institutional example) thing is explicitly to make infiltration and large-scale disruption of operations impossible.
