If the electoral college wasn’t bad enough, Trump will be actively suppressing votes. With election chances almost even, “russian interference” almost definitely tips the scales to trump, right?
All he needs to do is flip Pennsylvania and hold the red states. Pennsylvania is key for this election. Look for most of the bs to go on there
He needs to get within 3 points or just around the margin of error with Biden to make cheating the rest of the distance plausible. It also needs to seem legitimate enough that the mass media says Trump wins on election night. If it is a long delay like with Iowa I don’t think it works out, capital can intervene by effectively refusing to call it until the missing votes are accounted for and pausing at a favorable Biden count. Trump can and most likely will respond by immediately saying he’s being cheated, but the media has been laying the ground work for months that will undercut him. Trump’s other weakness is that a lot of the swing states he needs to go along with this don’t have red local governments.
In a similar vein, if Trump wins through thinly veiled fraud, what on earth do libs do? Are they seriously gonna wait for the courts to sort it out like last time? Unable to stop the funny orange man, what do they exist for?
I donno. There’s so many cheeky scenarios. I think the key to pulling it off is making sure Biden does not clearly win on election night. Achieving this will require supressing voter turnout in liberal parts of states that are more up for grabs and making mail in ballots more difficult to achieve in those states. However, ensuring this also requires he not lose states like Iowa and Arizona that could end up going blue if he’s behind enough, and the thing about supressing the vote is it’s easier to do the less areas he’s doing it in. The more areas it’s done in, the more likely people are to catch on.
TL;DR: Trump needs to lock up states that do consistently go Red without making it too clearly fraudulent, then fraud the fuck out of the swing states.
