Sure our infrastructure is failing but we shouldn’t have overbuilt road infrastructure in the first place. The roads that are actually important get the first cut away, the infra bill is mostly just another way to prop up the suburban way of living. I say good, let it fail and relocate people into cities.

Also, the US needed to spend $4T just to get its infrastructure back to par. That’s just maintenance debt. Then you can start making improvements.

Prices are going to because of the supply chain breaking down. Therefore, we can’t do infrastructure. That would require spending money and spending money creates inflation which is the one thing we don’t want!
